Elite Care ensures all their support workers are thoroughly screened before being offered an opportunity to join our dynamic team. A full employment check is performed at interview stage and references are obtained to back this up. An enhanced DBS check is done before any carer is allowed to work with a client on their own. We then enrol our staff on our 8 day induction, providing them with all the necessary training they need to work in the care sector. Although experience in care is important we believe that it is the caring nature in the person that makes a good carer/support worker. Elite Care are very particular in the selection of carer’s or support workers as these individuals are at the forefront of representing the company and their philosophies. Elite Care also understands that building a relationship up with a support worker can be difficult in some cases. Elite Care also offer the option of identifying a support worker/ carer to the client should they have someone in mind. This could be a family member or a friend of the client or client’s family. Elite Care would employ the individual and be responsible for their employment contracts, Tax, NI contributions, payroll service and will provide all the necessary training they will need to ensure they deliver the care in a safe and timely manner.
